Nature
During this quarantine, when everyone is actively completing all their incomplete works, spending time with their families and trying out new interesting activities, my thoughts take me to that day when I stood peacefully on a calm seashore enjoying the sun set below the horizon.
It was a wonderful evening and I was standing in the balcony facing the sea, with some weird worry within me. The pleasant weather out there invited me to take a walk at the seashore. Accepting it, I walked out, towards the sand. A gush of cold and strong wind blew past me releasing even those few strands of my hair I had pinned into my small clip. It felt like a crowd of happy people ran past me giving me short-lived hugs.

Accepting it, I walked out, towards the sand. A gush of cold and strong wind blew past me releasing even those few strands of my hair I had pinned into my small clip. It felt like a crowd of happy people ran past me giving me short-lived hugs.
I removed my slippers and ran against the wind, towards the sea. The sun glared on my eyes as it was heading towards the horizon and the cool seawater gently soothed my feet. It was a heavenly feeling. There raised multiple waves, few small and the rest big, and retreated after hitting my feet. I felt all the negativity leaving my body with the retreating water. Healing and cleansing power of nature you see.
There was this medium-sized rock a metre away. I ran towards it and slowly climbed onto the top and there I was feeling on top of the world. The sun was gradually approaching the horizon to get back into its blanket. The clouds seemed to be escorting the honourable sun to its bed. I wanted to capture this moment in the camera but suddenly my instinct told me to just enjoy that moment. So I did as I was told.
At last, the sun reached the horizon and it seemed to be this delicious mango that anybody would want to taste. I waved goodbye to the sun and enjoyed looking at the multicoloured sky. I thanked nature, for gifting me with this visual beauty, by shouting out aloud-" Thank you!!!". The birds on the tree, behind me, started chirping as if they too thanked the nature. I turned and smiled at the birds. While I returned home, there was a big smile on my face instead of the worry that I had before going out there. This proves William Wordsworth's statement when he told that nature had the healing power over man and his feelings.
My thoughts returned to the present quarantine and I realize that I have a big smile on my face even now. The thoughts indeed had a magical effect on my boredom. Now I say, " The beauty of nature is unbeatable .".
